HISTORY

Fibretech New Zealand Limited is an organisation originally established in 1982 to supply and service the interior textile and apparel market in New Zealand.

Early activity was based on commercialising new technologies and included a joint venture with Wools of New Zealand in 1987 (Woolfill NZ Ltd).

In 1994 this company (now FibreTech New Zealand Ltd) became fully owned by the Sheldon family.

Nimbus Bedware Ltd had already been established and Bias Binding was purchased in 1991.

The company now consists of four trading divisions as follows :

  • FibreTechnologies (Woolfill)
  • Nimbus Bedware
  • Bias Binding
  • Contract Quilting
