Contained in every mattress are thousands of tiny, soft clusters of pure wool fibres called knops. Nimbus 4BaBe Wool Underlays

4BaBe underlays are pure New Zealand wool luxury. The deep wool pile provides sleeping comfort and natural insulation, warm in winter and cool in summer, fire resistant and non-allergenic. Soft and springy, it gives support - so important for newborns and growing babies.

Placed beneath the bottom sheet, wide elastic corner straps ensure the underlay is held firmly in place.

Deluxe Reversible Underlays

These underlays are the ultimate in all-season underlay with two layers of pure wool. On one side there is a deep wool pile, and on the cotton quilted reverse, there are thousands of tiny, soft balls of pure wool fibres called knops. This fill, called Duraloft TM t, means the natural qualities of wool are enhanced with very impressive results. The underlay can be used either side up.

Safety

The mattress size for your bassinet or cot is critical. The gap between the mattress and the cot ends and sides should not be more than 4cm. If it is any larger, your baby could easily trap an arm or leg in the gap. Babies should always be laid to sleep on their backs unless there is clear medical advice to do otherwise. Cot quilts/duvets are not suitable for babies under one year.
