At the heart of the bedware collection are breakthrough technologies that make it unique. Over the past 14 years, a comprehensive research programme with the internationally recognised Wool Research Organisation of New Zealand (WRONZ), has assisted in the development of Duraloft^TM .

Our technologies enhance wool's natural qualities and add so much more. Duraloft TM is a unique bedding fill composed of small, soft clusters of pure wool fibres called knops.

The unique manufacturing process creates elastic bonds between the fibres of each knop which enhances wool's natural resilience and helps it retain its superior lofting properties for longer.

A special polymer treatment prevents the knops from clumping together or flattening so that Duraloft^TM bedding retains its original softness, appearance and thickness, even with the most rigorous use.

The natural comfort zone created by wool through its absorption of moisture and inherent temperature regulating qualities, allows air to circulate through the knops. Research proves that warm, dry bedding gives a deeper, more restful sleep.

Add in wool's thermal insulation properties - warm in winter and cool in summer - its natural fire retardant qualities, its non-allergenic properties and its naturally renewable resource base - then it's no wonder that Duraloft^TM promises the sort of comfort that dreams are made of.

And Duraloft^TM has been applied not only to pure wool but also to blended alternatives and quality polyester, offering an impressive range of choices of bedding fills which are luxurious, hard-wearing and lightweight.
